Welcome to A Backpacker’s Diary. My name is Sumanta. Since childhood I always dreamt about visiting foreign lands. This blog is a collection of some of my travel experience with an intention to inspire people to travel and see the world.
When Did I Start Travelling?
My first opportunity to visit a foreign country came in June 2009 when I visited my brother in Norway. Since then I have been addicted to travelling.It is hard to go back to normal life once the travel bug has bit you. Till now I have been to about 32 countries and still counting.
What I do for Living?
I work in a US-based management consulting firm in Gurgaon, India. I have a degree in Computer Engineering from NSIT, Delhi University and MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
How Do I Fund my Travels?
Travelling is not cheap. However, it is also not as expensive to travel as most people think. Ask any traveller and he/she can vouch for it. It is about priorities in life. For me nothing is more than to see the world as much as I can during my short stay on this planet. I just spend smartly to fulfill your travel dreams.
What is My dream
My dream is to visit all 7 continents during my life time.
